Nocable patch rocksmith 2014 static1/30/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() To get my GuitarRig setup working with it, I had to snag my computer speakers output as part of the simulated ASIO device, which meant nothing else on the computer could make noise, and I'd have to change the default output device after using GuitarRig, which was a big pain in my ass.įlexASIO will use your WASAPI/WDM devices in non-exclusive mode, which means I don't have to change devices, and everything just works. The thing is-if I'm remembering the issue I had with it any way-ASIO4ALL only wants to work with WASAPI devices in exclusive mode. It's also helpful at preventing damage to the Realtone cable, simply by not walking on it or moving it with the instrument. I've got a nice passive Palmer PAN01 then XLR to the soundcard. ![]() I'd also recomment using a DIBox between your cable/soundcard and the instrument to alleviate ground loop and noises you could pick from the computer. Used it here with the OG Realtonecable and the Realtek output of my motherboard. It works here with an old EMU 1616m and a Scarlett 18i8.Īnd you can use multiple devices Ins and Outs with ASIO4All. RSASIO was pretty easy to install, three files to copy, then edit the ini file with the name of the driver you want to use. With ASIO4All I can't use GuitarRig as an amp, which is what I want to use it for. Also I don't really recommend ASIO4All, FlexASIO is better as it lets you use different devices for input and output. I do have ASIO set up on my system for using GuitarRig with, but it's not worth the hassle for Rocksmith. Had tried ASIO but it's a big pain to get set up, and this works with no latency at all, and is trivial to set up. Even hacked the audio delay down to zero (It won't let you set it to zero in the options, you have to do that through the config file) and it works perfectly (Where the Rocksmith cable creates stuttering at latency settings that low). In my case, I bought a cheap $15 usb to stereo plug cable from Amazon ( ) and it just works. That is if your soundcard supports ASIO or if you can run ASIO4All with low latency.Īnd then it'll be easier to move on to other softwares to record or practice. You're better with ASIO if you want low latency in my experience.
